  Trash and Recycling Removal Topics

Trash Holiday Schedule 2014/2015

Trash and Recycling is picked up every Thursday between 7:30 a.m. and dusk.

Unless homeowners are otherwise email notified, Trash/Recycling is picked up every Thursday.

Exception: only the weeks of Thanksgiving and Christmas (if holiday falls on Thursday) will have at least a one day delay of pick up unless otherwise notified in a community email.

Trash must ONLY be put outside of an enclosed structure on the day of pick up, including yard debris.

Trash/Recycling is to be out No earlier than 5:30 a.m. on the DAY of pick up.

Trash/recycling needs to be placed on the end of the Driveway, not in the street. Containers must be secure so trash does not get dislodged by wind and trash blown around the neighborhood. Lidded trash can containers are required by covenants and not loose trash bags.

Recycling materials may all be placed in one container labeled "Recycling". Any lidded trash can type container that works for the homeowner. Recycling containers are not provided by the trash removal vendor.

Sorting of recycling materials is not necessary or required.

Trash/recycling containers must be returned to an enclosed structure the day of trash/recycling removal.

Each residence is allowed TWO normal size trash cans for trash and ONE Normal size trash can for Recycling. Although Trash bags should not be used or set out for trash pickup because of our environment, if it is necessary up to 4-55 gallon size trash bags instead of trash cans may be used, although highly discouraged.

Additional amounts of trash are to be arranged for additional cost pick up with the trash removal vendor or extra trash will not be picked up from residence.

Forest Park is the home to many species of wildlife. Encouraging wildlife to become accustomed to human food by placing trash, yard debris and other items outside of an enclosed structure may encourage future wildlife problems and issues.

No trash cans/container, compost bins, trash bags may be stored outside of an enclosed structure (garage) at any time. Trash may be placed at the end of driveway only on the day of pick up.
