| | 6-1 | UPDATE:

| | | "I
thought the trail system was restricted from motorized vehicles; all
these scooters zipping along the trails - isn't the trailway system
confined to pedals, paws and feet? Does anyone know? It doesn't seem
safe coming around the blind curves and with all the pedestrian use."

in this list) would pick up after their dogs. There is an incredible
amount of dog feces on our walking paths."

| | | "In
addition to the dog feces... I have noticed an increasing amount of
litter. This is probably the result of the high winds and the increasing
building construction. I think that it would be a good community project
to determine how to manage and control the amount of litter blowing
around. It makes this beautiful place a little less beautiful."

witnessed motorized vehicles/kids on go carts tearing up the grass
field at the Retreat Park and reported it to the Metro District. Someone
from the Metro District did come down and handle the situation as
the park had just undergone some renovations and this was not the
place for this type of activity."

| | | "I
am commenting on the posting regarding speeding on Monarch. I could
not agree more. The speeding traffic not only causes a large amount
of noise - but is very dangerous considering the number of children
that live in our community. Please email the Douglas County Sheriff
and voice your concern. This is the email

| | | "I
have noticed a large increase in the speed of traffic on Monarch.
I realize that this is a through street from Highlands Ranch to
CP Parkway. However, I find it disconcerting that if I drive the
speed limit I am impeding traffic? I am
new to the area and wonder how traffic speed on Monarch and CP Parkway
can be reduced. I have already seen a rollover at Monarch and Hidden
Pointe which rolled to the bottom of that drainage gully. Also,
I have seen an Elk struck by a speeding motorist. That is just the
things that I have witnessed, who knows what else has happened?
When will this be a bicyclist, a resident's car or one of the children
in the area? Not a great thought. How
can we influence and fix this?"
