All CPN retirees are welcome to the CPN Empty Nesters, a group formed for the purpose of making social connections and for participation in common interest activities. Presently, 140 CPN retirees are involved.
The Empty Nesters’ group was initiated in September 2008 and selected eleven common-interest, small-group activities, which have started meeting or will start soon. Several of the activities, such as Bridge, Canasta, Mah Jongg, and Wine Appreciation are coordinated by residents who have offered their time to teach. These activity groups meet primarily during the day although a few meet in the evening, some meet biweekly, and others once a month. You may attend activities as often as you like.
Occasionally, a large group activity such as a Cocktail Hour or Potluck Party will be organized for the entire group.
