Pack a picnic and head out to the 2008 Summer Concert in the Park. This year’s event, sponsored by the Castle Pines North (CPN) Master Association and Castle Rock Bank, takes place on Sunday, July 13, at Coyote Ridge Park. Air castles and concessions will kick off the fun at 4 p.m. and the concert will begin at 5 p.m.

Reckless Abandon is back again after performing in 2005 and 2006. This crowd-favorite band features a range of music from country and bluegrass to jazz, blues, and rock ‘n roll, including hits from Patsy Cline, Buddy Holly, The Eagles and The Dixie Chicks.

Boy Scout Troop 316 will sell grilled hotdogs and hamburgers along with chips, soda, and candy. So, save the date, bring a blanket, and plan to enjoy some great tunes under the summer sun.
