Bill Smith Plumbing & Heating - 303-781-7856
    May 2008
I called 5 different companies and Bill Smith quoted the best price on the phone and did not try to sell upgrades or different systems like other companies who wanted to send a technician out to evaluate the situation for a fee or hard sell job. Every thing was exactly as quoted. Work was expertly done by the plumber (Scott Rassusem) This was one service call that made me smile! I will call Bill Smith first for and plumbing and heating needs.

Brian came to my home to replace the plumbing under the sink. About two weeks later we realized we had a very small leak running down the pipe where the valve was replaced, destroying a sheet of drywall in the basement. He promplty stood by his work, waving the bill, correcting the problem and paying for the drywallers to repair the damage. Stuff happens and it was nice to see someone stand by their work and repair it. His prices were also fair.

Plumbline Heating and Cooling

The work was 4-5 Star-a very knowledgeable and professional technician. We had a water leak in the water heater, and we have used Plumbline many times in the past, so I did not hesitate to call them. My mistake was not shopping around until after the fact although I thought the quoted price was high-things go up in price, right. Plumbline's price for replacing a 50 gallon gas water heater was $1600. An equivalent heater installed by a Home Depot sub contractor would have been $800, by Bell Plumbing (another good plumbing contractor in Denver that I have personally used) quoted $900. The customer service supervisor at Plumbline stood his ground when I finally got to talk to him. His position was that Plumbline's operating costs were higher than everyone elses and so his prices were "competitive". I told him we would never use Plumbline again and that seemed to be OK with him-he already had my money. Use Bell, not Plumbline. Bell is an upscale plumbing contractor that has been doing business in Denver for 90 years.

We have used Robert Rea w/ Mr. Hot Water several times to fix plumbing problems. He has always returned my phone calls, been prompt, provided excellent work at VERY reasonable cost. Plumbline Services gave me a quote for $400 to fix a basic leak and Robert came the next day and did it for $100. I would highly recommend him any time! (www.mrhotwaterheater.com)busphone:

I rely heavily on the referrals from this website and when I was having toilet issues, I called Courtesy Plumbing, since Mr. Hot Water Heater couldn't come out for a couple weeks. After diagnosing that my toilet needed a new flush valve, the man quoted me $368 for a replacement flush valve. Now I had just purchased a brand new toilet for another bathroom and a complete new toilet was only $160!! After telling him this, he then said he could do a "toilet tank rebuild" for around $240! HA! I paid him the $50 house call and went to Home Depot and purchased the part for $8 (THAT'S EIGHT DOLLARS!!!!) I gave my neighbor 50 bucks to install it...took him less than a half hour.

We had Robert out to replace the water shutoff valves for the house and outside water system. Robert suggested a different valve that takes only a 1/4 turn to turn on/off. Very responsive, excellent professional job, friendly and very reasonalby priced. Will call him first for any plumbing job

Called Robert about these pumps to shorten the time it takes to get hot water. He answered all my questions and gave me local references in CPN which I called. Every one of them had a positive experience with Robert and the product. I set up an appointment and he was right on time. Installation was clean and quick. He called me the next day to check on the results. I had another valve installed (showed up on time again). Robert was a nice guy, delivered as promised, no hassles and did all the work himself. And the pump/valves get me hot water in a few seconds instead of a bowl full! I thought it was a little expensive, but I am sure we don't waste 90% of the water we used to. Also, I priced the pump at Home Depot and by the time you get the valves and hoses, it isn't much more. Definitely recommend his services and this product.

"Tom Ragolia of Courtesy Plumbing and Heating replaced my washing machine faucets quickly and efficiently and left the area clean even though he had to cut through the dry wall. He was on time, polite, and did the work at a fair price."

"Tom Ragolia of Courtesy Plumbing and Heating did an excellent job fixing our tub fixtures and replacing our garbage disposal. He provided an estimate before he began his repairs and only charged by the job, not by time."
