Large Bobcat Spotted in Forest Park Cul-de-Sac

On Friday, November 30, Deborah Lynch of Forest Park spotted what appeared to be a mountain lion in their cul-de-sac.  The cat was pacing in the middle of the street for about five minutes before disappearing behind a neighbor’s home.  According to Lynch, the cat looked like a bobcat, but was much larger than their 45 pound dog.  After reporting the incident to the Division of Wildlife, they informed her that it was a large, very well-fed, bobcat.
