Wildlife in HOA#1 - Coyotes

by Kathleen Aubert

We live in Brixham Court-HOA 1.  Yesterday, June 23, we had a coyote pup hop/climb the 5+ wooden slat fence in our backyard.  To get there, it had to have climbed/ hopped the neighbors' fences as we do not back to open space.  It was unable to climb the fence to get back out.  We were finally able to get it out of our yard, however, I thought I would send this out as I was surprised it was able to get in.  I am glad my dog and my small child were not outside playing unattended.  I was also relieved to see that the mother coyote was not in our yard looking for her pup!
