Pig Farmers to Purchase Monarch Lot

A five-generation farming family from Sedalia has purchased the commercial lot known as CC20 on the northwest corner of Castle Pines Parkway and Monarch Blvd.

Work has already begun to convert the land into a 20-acre pig farm, where at least 4,000 hogs and pigs will be raised for slaughter.

The CPN Master Association has approved the construction of four covered, heated gondola chairs to take sliders and their sleds back up the hill for another ride down.

"So many kids — and their parents — have been complaining about having to walk back up the hill," said one of those involved in the... (read the entire article).

Oil-well proceeds to finance Gondola and NEW local Amusement Park.
We expect such a revenue stream from the oil venture that feedback is now being collected by the Association to choose an Amusement Park location. Public support is leaning toward having it within walking distance of the Gondola... (read the entire article).
