Each year, the Master Association hosts a number of CPN social events. We think that one of the most important things to consider in good social planning is the GUEST - and well... that's YOU. How many events help a community see itself communally? And what flavors? Does your Party Hat point toward "Adults-style" gatherings or does it favor "Family Affairs"? Help, please.

It's hot outside, hot and dry. Summer is waning but not before it dehydrated our wits. With dulled "noodles" comes simple reaction. Without thinking too much, or at all, let's just do some trivial pursuit. No deep meanings, no data to collect, no thoughts to assemble - just your opinion.

Even though we are serviced by the Metro District and have a water source, the state's water shortages may well affect us too. Voluntary watering restrictions are now in place for Castle Pines North. What is your take on voluntary watering days?

What is your experience with alternative phone companies? (May 2002)
As Qwest no longer has a monopoly on providing the telephone service for your home or business, other companies have started offering phone service in the Castle Pines North area.

If you have had used one of these alternative companies, this month's survey asks you to share your experience with your neighbors.

What features would you, our teens, like to see added in the newest CPN park? (April 2002)
This month's survey question is aimed at our teens. Last year, the younger kids helped pick the great playground equipment that is in Coyote Ridge Park. Now it is the teens' turn to speak up for our newest park plans. What would you like to see in CPN's new park, and perhaps, for a recreation center?

The young-at-heart may also answer this question. Input is really welcomed from all CPN residents.

Are you exhilarated or exhausted this Holiday season? (December 2001)
It starts with T-Day, shopping and preparing, then celebrating, then eating, then more shopping, more preparing... and it is into December and well, you get the idea... and there is also work, chores and schedules... and pick-up/drop-off, get it in the mail, wrap it up... be here, do that... Is it exhausting or exhilarating?

Fate of Web rests in the hands of CPN community. (November 2001)
CPNers will either value this form of communication and information or they won't. Because you will either sanction dues or revenue being diverted to pay for this site's maintenance and growth or you won't. So since I did this for the community, I leave it up to you to decide.

If there is no legitimate community interest if this site is not 'FREE' then tell me now... "Is it worth anything to you?" Is it worth twenty-five cents a week per family even if it comes from your dues?

So, "Will you support the continuation of this site - even from dues?"

Is 'normal' in our future anytime soon? (October 2001)
Not a thought climbs in your webmaster's head beyond "What do you say to a month like September??". We may not be New Yorkers and we are in our patch of the world but we, too, are all struggling with making sense of the world and reclaiming ourselves.

Are we ready for a CPN Recreation Center? What should it include? (September 2001)

Preliminary research shows that CPN may be far closer to achieving a new community recreation center.

A dominant thread running through last month's survey results was the need for smart planning for our community. So here is a chance to say what do you think. What do you want to see a facility include? How do you feel about it?

Is CPN growing too fast? (August 2001)

This community has been around for awhile - it has seen it's share of ups and downs. It has also quintupled itself since the early days.

Since growth is a hot issue in Colorado - does it translate to our community in Castle Pines North?

We have some community open spaces that could use some community sweat - the new Coyote Ridge Park and an additional trail around Daniels Park Road. That is the center of this month's poll - if it gets organized - we are curious to know, will you help?
