Annual Delegate Meeting – 11-15-18

The Annual Delegate Meeting of the Castle Pines North “Master” Association, Inc. will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at the Castle Pines Library, 360 Village Square Lane, Castle Pines, CO  80108, in the Castle Pines North Master Association Event Hall, beginning at 6:30 p.m.  Sign in will begin at 6:00 p.m.

The purpose of this meeting is to approve the 2017 Annual Delegate Meeting minutes and to elect two (2) Directors, each for a three (3) year term.

As an important reminder, proxies for voting are not allowed for the Castle Pines North “Master” Association Annual Delegate Meeting, they are only allowed for quorum purposes only

CPN “Master” Board of Director Opening

Anna Mallinson has resigned as a Board Member of the Castle Pines North Association (the “Master Association”).  The Master Association Board of Directors would like to recognize and thank Anna for her past service and dedication to the Master Association and the Castle Pines North Parks Authority. 

Therefore, the Master Association Board of Directors are seeking candidates interested in filling her vacant position on the Board of Directors, the term ending in November 2019.  Candidates must be Members in good standing of the Master Association (i.e. not delinquent in assessment payments or currently involved in any documented covenant violation procedures for either the Master Association or any Sub Association), and be committed to representing the interests of the residents of the Master Association in an objective manner, to the best of their ability.

If you are interested in being considered, please submit a brief letter of interest (and a resume if desired) about why you would be interested in serving and what you feel you would uniquely bring to the Board of Directors and the Castle Pines community. Interested candidates who submit a letter of interest will be contacted for an interview with the Selection Committee of the Board of Directors.

Please submit your letter of interest to kim@premierpropmgmt.com by the close of business Tuesday, October 2, 2018.

The concert that was scheduled for today, July 22, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. has been postponed due to rain and lightning.

Dougas County skill for Amazon Alexa

A New Way to Connect with Your Local Government

Douglas County is pleased to announce the availability of a new skill for Amazon Alexa called Ask Douglas County.  This skill offers a new way to better serve and inform citizens by verbally inquiring about calendar of events and services in a conversational way. 

The skill can be enabled through a user’s Amazon Alexa app or by saying “Alexa, enable Douglas County” to their Alexa-enabled device like Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, Echo Show and more.  Once the skill is enabled, users can use their Alexa-enabled device to ask ‘Douglas County’ about:

              • Up-to date county news …“Alexa, ask Douglas County, what’s new?”
              • Local family-friendly events …“Alexa, ask Douglas County, what events are this month?”  
              • Road closures“Alexa, ask Douglas County, if there are any closures?”
              • Property value and taxes …“Alexa, ask Douglas County, how do I pay my property tax?”
              • County services …“Alexa, ask Douglas County, how do I register to vote?”

The main purpose of this meeting is to elect three Directors, each for a three year term.  If you would like your name placed on the ballot for the election, please email kim@premierpropmgmt.com
