Dougas County skill for Amazon Alexa
A New Way to Connect with Your Local Government
Douglas County is pleased to announce the availability of a new skill for Amazon Alexa called Ask Douglas County. This skill offers a new way to better serve and inform citizens by verbally inquiring about calendar of events and services in a conversational way.
The skill can be enabled through a user’s Amazon Alexa app or by saying “Alexa, enable Douglas County” to their Alexa-enabled device like Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, Echo Show and more. Once the skill is enabled, users can use their Alexa-enabled device to ask ‘Douglas County’ about:

Castle Pines North Master Association – 28th Annual Community Wide GARAGE SALES – Save the dates!!!
May 18th and 19th – 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
September 14th and 15th – 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Daniels Park Road Improvement Plan – Open House
Douglas County is holding an open house to present the Daniels Park Road improvement Plan. The open house will be held Tuesday, May 2nd from 6-8 pm at the Miller Building, 100 Third St., Castle Rock.
The Road Improvement Plan is a collaboration between Douglas County and the City and County of Denver to modify the road through Daniels Park to create a slower, enjoyable park like travelling experience that includes additional parking areas, restrooms and trail connections.
Below link is the MOU between the two jurisdictions as well as mapping showing the proposed improvements.
