Service performed has included installing a new A/C unit, new programmable thermostats, new humidifier, adding a hot water heater, even changing filters. They are always dependable and reasonable. I was having AC problems and Joe came out and inspected my system and helped me program the complicated thermostats that were in my house. Turns out that there was no AC problem, but that I had the Saver Switch on my AC and the electric company had turned me off in the 100 degree heat! He inspected my AC and furnace unit and didn't try to sell me service that I didn't need! He was honest and arrived when he said he would. Very refreshing to do business with him.

We were having issues with our Furnace. I was referred to First Rate Heating and air. They came out explained what was wrong and repaired my Furnace right away. First Rate Heating and Air also put in a new thermostat(to save money and keep the temp more stable throught out our home)and also put in an electric air cleaner to remove dust and allergens. This is a class act company, that does great work and cleans up when there done. We had a great experience with this company and highly recomend them.

After reading other reviews for First Rate I decided to call Joe for an estimate for a new furnace and A/C. He beat out two other estimates that I had received and was so honest and completed the work just as described. I would highly recommend you call First Rate before deciding on any other company.

"Received an estimate on a Thursday and had an air conditioner installed on the followng Tuesday. Price matched the estimate. Straight and to the point. Didn't try to sell me something I didn't need."

Joe was able to give us a very precise quote for an air conditioner for our main level, adding an additional 50 gal. hot water heater and a new humidifier. He and his crew did an excellent job of adding the new equipment, overcoming obstacles of space, moving equipment, removing old equipment and cleaning up. We would highly recommend them.

"We had Joe come out and give an estimate on putting air conditioning in the upstairs of our house to help with the hot summers.
Joe gave us a profesional quote, estimate of time it would take and a guarantee. He came out in March and performed the exact work he said and accomplished it in the amount of time he estimated.
He came back in June to tune the unit to make sure it was operating efficiently. Joe makes sure to return calls and keep you informed of what is going on. His crew cleaned up every evening so you didn't even know they were doing work.
He and his team are professionals and I would recommend them to do heating and air."

"We had a great experience with the purchase and installation of our central A/C. Did a lot of research, got a wide variety of sizes and costs. Joe had the best price and product line.
