I have used this company a number of times since 2007-everything from spring & wire replacement to new garage doors, I have found them to be honest, responsive, fair prices and excellent work. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

"Garage door repair and maintenance" August 2008

Peter and Mary Anne were great. My garage doors needed a tune-up, but of course we didn't call until one of the doors began to crack. Service was prompt, quotes were fair and there were no surprises. They had everything they needed on their truck to fix the broken door and tune up both doors. They made recommendations, but I never felt they were upselling. In fact, they have the integrity to tell you when something is needed or when something could wait. Both of our doors are operating very smoothly now, and the time to replacement has been greatly extended. It is hard to find vendors that we can trust, but this is one company that exceeds expectations.

Premier Garage Door

"Garage Door Repairs" August 2007

Premier quoted on the phone and when the repairman showed up, the price almost doubled!!!! I refused his services and was told I had to pay him a $30 trip charge. I told him to talk to Premier, because they had created the problem. ALWAYS get a quoted price and NEVER allow an unreasonable price change!

"Great Service!" January 2006

After poor service from another garage door company we called Elizabeth Garage Door. They were out the next day and in two minutes assessed the problem with our door opener. Great service and very knowledgeable about Lift Master door openers.

Metro Denver Garage Door Company

"Poor Service" December 2005

Our garage door opener would stop just before our door would fully close and kept popping back open. I called Randy, Metro Denver Garage Door Company to fix the garage door/opener. He charged us for a trip charge and came and told us that the safety cables were too tight and that was causing the door opener to not allow the door to fully close. He adjusted those and tried the door a few times and it seemed to work fine. One hour after he left I went to open and then close the garage door and the same problem was there. I immediately called Randy - no answer. I left 4 messages in a week and then after a week, finally got ahold of him. He said that, if that didn't fix the problem it must be the logic board. My husband ordered a logic board and we replaced it, but the same problem was still there. We called Randy and he never would return our phone calls. We gave up and called another service - Elizabeth Garage Door and they came the next day. The man showed up and in 2 minutes told us that the LiftMaster Garage door was flashing a code at him and he looked it up in his manual and was told that the sensors were the problem. He looked at the sensors, which were attached to the door rails and removed them to the side of the garage door opening and it has worked great ever since. I have called Randy, Metro Denver Garage Door Company and asked that he refund our trip charge and now he will not return any of my phone calls.

Don's Garage Doors, Inc. at 303-794-0604

"Accolades for going above and beyond what I expected" March, 2003

"I want to give well deserved accolades to Don Szynskie, the owner and technician of Don's Garage Doors, Inc. He did repair work on my garage door Monday and Monday night the door opener quit working. I spoke to Don Tuesday morning and he said everything was working fine when he left. I took the door opener owner's manual and worked thru the troubleshooting section with no luck. I called Don to see if he had any suggestions and he was having lunch in the area and drove right over. Don correctly diagnosed the motor capacitor as being the problem, had one in his truck, replaced it, put everything back together that I had taken apart, and only charged me for the cost of the capacitor. Don went way beyond and above what he needed to do. He is on Tom Martino's Troubleshooter Referral List and I have written to Tom that I want Don' Garage Doors to get the "Fame"; stamp. Don had only worked on the door itself so he and I knew he had nothing to do with the opener failure but he went out of his way to fix the problem and so has inspired me to thank him by posting this note of praise for his extraordinary efforts. He went the extra mile to help me out without even being asked to do so, I only asked him for suggestions and he said he would be right over to check things out."

"very professional" August, 2002

"We replaced 3 doors and openers. We were even able to operate all 3 from the same remotes. The husband and wife team were very professional to deal with. They also did a nice job of cleanup and haul off of the old doors."

"Restored my faith in humanity" March 31, 2001

"My massive old garage door broke its springs and I was stuck with my car trapped inside and no way to lift the door. These folks came within 24 hours, expedited parts, and I was back in action the next day. A husband-and-wife team, these folks were reasonably priced, prompt, professional and neat."
