Patriot came out for a simple cleaning of the furnace, they did a good job with that but the checking for other potential problems such as hot water tank was more than just a simple "You may want to consider this" It became a full blown estimate for a new tank (Current one works fine, 7 years old) water softener etc, taking too much of my time(two + hours). They did discover we were missing the Pressure regulator valve and wanted to install it right away along with something on top of the hot water tank which they claimed (incorrectly) was code required.

Woke up to no heat on Super Bowl Sunday and discovered my furnace was not working. Joe Neer of First Rate Heating & Air came right out and replaced the ignitor before kickoff. Joe has done work at my house before and he's always been reasonably priced, honest and prompt.

Just had a great experience with AAA Service - they came to fix our furnace and humidifier. They did a great job with communicating - setting up the appt, confirming it, calling 1/2 hr before they arrived, explaining the problem, giving me a couple options, and then following up to see how things were going! Would highly recommend them!

"Got up the other morning with no heat. Called Plumbline and had service by 11AM. Found two sparrows had gotten into the furnace via the roof vent. Not only did the technician remove the birds and clean the furnace but climbed to the roof and fixed the opening in the vent, preventing this from happening again. They called that night to check on my satisfaction and sent a follow up postcard the next day."
