They did a great painting job. They have their own carpenter to do any needed repairs. There was lots of follow-up to see if we had questions, to see how the job was going, and to make sure we were satisfied.

Colortime Painting-Keith Klasen at 303.434.2972
    July 2009
Keith and his crew worked on our house for a few weeks and did a phenomenal job. Keith (owner) came every day to have a look and the job and make sure it was correct. His workers were tidy and respectful. Not one problem, which is RARE. We barely knew they were there. Keith was always available and listened to what we were wanting, and was very helpful and extremly knowlegable through out the entire process. The utmost proffesional. I will be telling all of my friends and family to use him.

Artisan Paint Works (Glen) at 720-363-2990
    June 2008
We found Glen in 2006 when he was painting the exterior of our neighbor's home. We were so impressed with his prep work and caulking that we hired him on the spot to paint our house. Since that time, he's done several projects at our house, and many of our neighbors' homes. Glen's pricing is very fair. You can find a cheaper painter, but you won't find a better painter than Glen.

Ryan's Brush - 303-688-6677
    September 2007
Dave Ryan of Ryan's Brush did an excellent job of painting the exterior of our house. He is definitely a cut above the rest. He is an artist as well as a painter and helped us choose new colors for which we've had numerous compliments. He used top quality paint that he applied generously to last several years. Dave does all the work himself so the quality will be just as good for someone else. We highly recommend Ryan's brush for your exterior painting needs.

Ameritek Painting - 303-471-2456
  June-Sept., 2008
It took them over 3 months to complete painting our house. Believe they have lost supervisors from a comment made. Crew didn't seem experienced. Prep work was terrible-dripping prime allowed to dry & many missed spots. Had to request it be re-done. Spilled paint on the deck. Left trash throughout lawn & landscaping. Final product turned out okay but it took a lot of oversight and patience on our part. Smooth sales skills though. Would not recommend or rehire.

Isaac and his brother are a couple of the most untrustworthy men we have ever come across.
We were told that our neighbors were very satisfied customers. Once our job started and things started to go wrong I checked with our neighbors and BOTH were NOT satisfied.
They should have taken up car sales because they are only good at talking circles so you can not get a word in edge wise.
They are very dishonest. Quality of paint is marginal, subcontractors wrecked plants, paint was left splattered all over, we had to clean up paper left hanging on our house, and it goes on and on. We prayed hourly that they would just leave! We will have to repaint next summer.
They take no responsibility - just want to "spin it" so that is everyone else's fault!

Isaac and his crew did a fantastic job painting the exterior of our home. There attention to detail and flexibility to work with us on special requests was great. Their price is quite fair and their work is well above average.

We were, again, very pleased with Isaac and his crew. We had them paint the whole house - siding and trim - this time. They were on budget and completed the job sooner than expected. The house looks great, and they cleaned up everything.

I hired Ameritek to paint my house. Very professional, accomodating. I was painting my house a different color and they did a great job covering the old. At the final walkthrough they caught minor errors that I would have never seen and promptly fixed them. I'll use them again.

Yuri and his crew did an excellent job of paint my exterior which is a 2 story w/walk out which is a big job. They first power washed, primed, scraped and caulked. Helped me choose the colors by "trying" small areas of a couple choices. He has a lot of experience. The work couldn't be better. His crew are full time, year round employees. He starts a 7AM when the weather is cool and the wind isn't blowing. I couldn't be more pleased.

We highly recommend Curt Montag of LOOK Painting. We hired him twice in the past 5 years, in Highlands Ranch & most recently in Castle Pointe (Forest Park). Curt begins and ends the project himself and is always on sight with his two-person team of painters. He is reasonably priced for the excellent job he does.
Curt is patient and most willing to suit the owner's wishes. He also does interior painting.

Damon Painting at 303-548-8391
 June 2006
On the outside, this guy is good. He seems to know his stuff, he comes and sells you the goods. His help, on the other hand, cuts corners, and then you're stuck. A year later, the paint's peeling, and Damon won't come and fix the problem - his guys didn't prime, so the paint's comming off, and Damon's no where to be found. Phone call after phone call. Promise after promise... The whole summer wasted. We ended up getting someone else because Damon wouldn't even honor his promises.... And we paid for premium paint and all....

Ameritek Painting - 303-471-2456

This was the first exterior painting since being built in 1998. I obtained 7 bids and Ameritek was not the highest or lowest, but in the lower half. I was concerned if more than one coat would be needed since I was changing colors and couldn't relate to some quotes of mil thickness. Steve Shearon, the owner, came over and explained they would put on sufficient paint to cover no matter how thick it had to be and would come back if I wasn't satisfied. They proposed to do the job in 3 days which included one day prep of power washing, scraping/sanding, priming and caulking. They completed the job on schedule and came back to do the punch list I prepared after my walkaround with a neighbor to look for touch up areas. They have hard working employees who don't impose on your normal routines or privacy. They also have insurance which was another concern I had which I was shown during a very professional bid proposal. I can recommend them for your exterior work.

These guys worked hard, first powerwashing, scraping, fixing cracks and calking. After the exterior paint was complete, I walked around the house with Sergio (owner/supervisor) to find any touch ups or concerns. They returned the following afternoon as promised, and handled all issues. They left my home tidy, beautifully painted - and a one year warranty on any material defectveness or poor labor. I trust them and would work with them again.

No preparation or repair work at all as promised. Used wrong color paint on trim but swore it was correct-repainted after much "discussion". Painted around the downspouts instead of removing them. Wouldn't recommend these guys to my worst enemy. Fast but sloppy and don't deliver promised product. Top end price.

Douglas M. Gittleson amazed me with his results. He followed a drywaller in covering an electrician's bores in the drywall, covering a repaired water leak, restoring tar drip damage from a repair years ago, and a structural crack. He also does exterior painting, and I will contact him when I next need that done.

These days "professional" seems to mean how many short-cuts you know and the speed with which a job can be completed. Never mind about what you advertise you will do or the quality of the work performed. It apparently is in and out in a heartbeat, don't forget to give the check.
We had our house "speed" painted. In fairness, they did come back and zip through it again after we complained. But twice the lousy job is still lousy.
So I guess we are not supposed to mind the caulking and scraping that never got done, nor the upper-end cost, nor the mess and sloppy craftsmanship, these were really "professional" painters. Not pleased at all.

NO STARS - Fall, 2000 and re-do in Summer 2001
We had our house first painted in the Fall and had to have them come back again. The painting was not done as promised. It was sprayed, not hand painted. It was done in one day by numerous workers who trampled bushes and flowers. No prep work was done as promised. No caulking was done as promised. The deck was painted and no prep work or powerwashing was done as promised. The deck had to be re-done as the paint was coming off in long pieces. When they returned to re-paint the deck (Summer 2001), they painted without preparation - no sweeping or washing - and painted over pine needles and dirt on our deck. The workers were rude and lazy. It was a nightmare.
