Rea Plumbing & Water Heater at 303 828 8889

"Fast, friendly, reasonable and professional" July 2010

I used this site for the first time to find a plumber who works in Castle Pines North. I wasn't disappointed with the referral for Rea Plumbing. Rob showed up on time - took care of my needs quickly and was very reasonably priced. Recommend very highly for general plumbing needs.

"An HONEST, Reliable and Competent Master Plumber" May 2010

Don't get ripped off by unscrupulous plumbers. ((Formerly Mr. Hot Water Heater))
Replaced a damaged 28" section of copper water pipe to the sprinklers that burst from freezing. We were quoted an outrageous $550 by a large, heavily advertised Castle Rock plumber who reduced the price to $440 after I complained. Rob completed the repair in 8-minutes for $50!! Parts cost under $5. (Rob is a master plumber).

We also had him replace a defective water pressure regulator (Cost $150 compared to $500 quoted by the other plumber). We also then bought a new hot water heater from Rob.

"Rea Plumbing (formerly Mr. Hot Water Heater)" May 2010

I've used Robert Rea a couple of times to take care of plumbing issues (most recently he replaced my hot water heater), and he's always done a great job. He's courteous, prompt and reasonably priced. Please note that he's changed his company name to Rea Plumbing & Water Heater (he's no longer doing business as Mr. Hot Water Heater as of mid-2010).

"Pressure regulator water valve" April 2010

Did a great job and price was reasonable. (They do add a $45.00 trip charge for Castle Pines North locations) Needed a PRV installed after learning that our townhouse did not have one. Once I had investigated this with the city, I called Bill Smith Plumbing and they were here the same day.

"Integrity & Experience" August 2009

We've enlisted Robert's help several times over the past couple of years. He replaced an external hose bib that froze & flooded a section of our basement...at a fraction of the cost that other plumbing companies quoted us. He's also moved existing pipes in our basement, so that we can move forward on finishing the space in the future. Robert is reliable, knowledgeable, ethical, respectful, and kind. A really nice guy who knows what he's doing, and won't charge a fortune for his work!

"Honest, Reliable, Fair" November 2008

Robert Rea at Mr. Hot Water Heater and Plumbing really knows his stuff. he is honest and his prices are more than fair! our hot water heater burst and we called Plumbline and Robert thanks to this site otherwise i would never had even heard of him. plumbline took a 2 minute look at it and said it needed to be replaced and quoted us 3 times what robert quoted us. Not to mention he told us that the problem wasn't the water heater going out at all but the regulator that broke the water heater! if we had only replaced the water heater through Plumbline, our faulty regulator would've broken the new water heater! thank goodness for robert!

"Hot water Heater Replacement" May 2008

I called 5 different companies and Bill Smith quoted the best price on the phone and did not try to sell upgrades or different systems like other companies who wanted to send a technician out to evaluate the situation for a fee or hard sell job. Every thing was exactly as quoted. Work was expertly done by the plumber (Scott Rassusem) This was one service call that made me smile! I will call Bill Smith first for and plumbing and heating needs.

"Plumbers" March 2008

Brian came to my home to replace the plumbing under the sink. About two weeks later we realized we had a very small leak running down the pipe where the valve was replaced, destroying a sheet of drywall in the basement. He promplty stood by his work, waving the bill, correcting the problem and paying for the drywallers to repair the damage. Stuff happens and it was nice to see someone stand by their work and repair it. His prices were also fair.

Plumbline Heating and Cooling

"Outlandish Prices at Plumbline" January 2008

The work was 4-5 Star-a very knowledgeable and professional technician. We had a water leak in the water heater, and we have used Plumbline many times in the past, so I did not hesitate to call them. My mistake was not shopping around until after the fact although I thought the quoted price was high-things go up in price, right. Plumbline's price for replacing a 50 gallon gas water heater was $1600. An equivalent heater installed by a Home Depot sub contractor would have been $800, by Bell Plumbing (another good plumbing contractor in Denver that I have personally used) quoted $900. The customer service supervisor at Plumbline stood his ground when I finally got to talk to him. His position was that Plumbline's operating costs were higher than everyone elses and so his prices were "competitive". I told him we would never use Plumbline again and that seemed to be OK with him-he already had my money. Use Bell, not Plumbline. Bell is an upscale plumbing contractor that has been doing business in Denver for 90 years.

We have used Robert Rea w/ Mr. Hot Water several times to fix plumbing problems. He has always returned my phone calls, been prompt, provided excellent work at VERY reasonable cost. "What a RIP OFF!" May, 2007

I rely heavily on the referrals from this website and when I was having toilet issues, I called Courtesy Plumbing, since Mr. Hot Water Heater couldn't come out for a couple weeks. After diagnosing that my toilet needed a new flush valve, the man quoted me $368 for a replacement flush valve. Now I had just purchased a brand new toilet for another bathroom and a complete new toilet was only $160!! After telling him this, he then said he could do a "toilet tank rebuild" for around $240! HA! I paid him the $50 house call and went to Home Depot and purchased the part for $8 (THAT'S EIGHT DOLLARS!!!!) I gave my neighbor 50 bucks to install it...took him less than a half hour.

"Hot Water Recirculation" September, 2004

Called Robert about these pumps to shorten the time it takes to get hot water. He answered all my questions and gave me local references in CPN which I called. Every one of them had a positive experience with Robert and the product. I set up an appointment and he was right on time. Installation was clean and quick. He called me the next day to check on the results. I had another valve installed (showed up on time again). Robert was a nice guy, delivered as promised, no hassles and did all the work himself. And the pump/valves get me hot water in a few seconds instead of a bowl full! I thought it was a little expensive, but I am sure we don't waste 90% of the water we used to. Also, I priced the pump at Home Depot and by the time you get the valves and hoses, it isn't much more. Definitely recommend his services and this product.
