Cortney Brand, P.C.

Cortney Brand has been a resident of Castle Pines North since 2000, and is a professional in the water resources field.  He understands that a high quality, reliable water supply is vital to our community, and possesses the knowledge and experience to help our District make responsible decisions regarding development and management of water resources.

His background includes B.S. and M.S. degrees in Geology, and 10 years of experience in development and management of water resources in the Southwest and Rocky Mountains.  As a Senior Project Engineer with Colorado Springs Utilities, he is responsible for planning, development and management of the City’s groundwater resources, water rights acquisition and protection, and strategic planning for nonpotable water supplies.

Cortney cares about the community he lives in and in which he and his wife raise their two sons.  He strongly supports the responsible use of resources, preservation of open spaces, development of park and recreation facilities and opposition of activities that could negatively impact our community.  As a testament to these ideals, he has attended Master Association meetings, circulated petitions and participated in development review committee activities.
