Cheryl McDade, CPA
As a Castle Pines North resident since 1989, I have volunteered my time to our community for more than a decade, and have served as a Metro District Board member and Treasurer since 1998. I have utilized my background as a CPA to provide strong financial management to our community, while planning for future water needs.
In my role as a Board member, I have worked to provide a safe, adequate and cost efficient water supply for our community. My goal is to continue implementation of a long-term water plan to meet the needs of today, and the future, such as:
Our parks, trails and open spaces are a defining characteristic of our community. We must give priority to maintaining and improving the landscaping in our open spaces, connecting trails in the community, and completing construction of our parks.
I support increased communications with CPN residents, including public meetings and publications.
My finance experience has been instrumental in leading the Metro District to financial security. The District is now in good financial condition with “A” rated bonds, lower interest rates and lower tax rates. I am committed to further reducing property tax rates for all CPN residents.
I’m dedicated to making CPN a great place to live for my family, and for yours. With your vote, I will further apply my knowledge and experience towards future plans to improve our community.
