Eagle Trash Services Recycling:

Recycling is picked up bi-weekly on the same day as your regular trash service. Be sure to have your Recycling at the curb by 7:00 a.m.; the recycling trucks come early! Please be sure to place your recycle bins and any additional trash bags or cans at least 3 feet away from the blue container.

You can use your own recycling bins, OR recycling bins are available from Eagle at a $10.00 charge per bin. Two recycle bins are needed, and materials must be separated as follows:

Bin #1 - PAPER
All paper products that tear (NO CARDBOARD, cereal boxes, pizza boxes, etc.)

Bin#2 - Commingle plastics, glass, and cans.
Items accepted for recycling are #1 and #2 plastics, glass bottles and jars, tin cans, and aluminum cans. Please be sure to thoroughly rinse out all containers before you set them out, as a contaminated load will not be accepted by the recycle facilities and the entire load will have to be disposed of at the landfill.
Do:
  • Use bins for all recycling.
  • Thoroughly rinse out all containers.
  • Separate newspaper from commingled materials.
  • Put bins at curb with cart.bi-weekly)
  • Only put listed recyclables into the bins.
Don't:
  • Set recycling out in paper/plastic bags or in boxes.
  • Contaminate materials with dirty containers.
  • Put trash in bins with recycling.
