And what you have had to say...
  8-7 Brad from KnightsBridge
"I just got SBB [Suburban Broadband] installed and have had absolutely no problems at all. The one's I had were self inflicted! I now have two computers on a system and use a VPN connection for my office application. They are great, friendly, helpful and really willing to help. It was a very simple installation and THERE ARE NO OUTSIDE ANTENNA'S!!!! . . . thus no obnoxious elements to muck up the view in the neighborhood! (512 connection)"

  6-9 Steve from Tapestry Hills
"[Suburban Broadband] Very reliable, fast, and just what I needed!"

  6-9 Steve from WinterBerry
"Excellent, very satisfied with the service. They [Suburban Broadband] have responded very well to my followup questions and some support issues."

  6-6 Rodman from Tapestry Hills
"I had ISDN through Qwest and was paying through the nose for service that was mediocre at best. I've enjoyed the service and speed of Suburban Broadband's service and I'm glad they offer something to our area."

  6-4 Paige from WinterBerry
"The installation [Suburban Broadband] was very easy and professional - and the response time is great. Very fast. We had cable connection before moving to CPN and this is much better. Worth every penny."

  6-3 David from Daniels Gate
"The installation went very smooth and I have had excellent performance from the first day [from Suburban Broadband]. I am very pleased with the technology as well as the tech support."

  6-3 Nick from Hidden Pointe
"Great service. Suburban Broadband was able to provide broadband service where no one else could. They were very professional and prompt in getting my service running, and have always been available for any of my questions. I would highly recommend anyone in CPN to call Suburban Broadband for their internet services today! Suburban Broadband at 303-470-8095, no, I am not an employee, just a very happy customer who appreciates the service they provide and their approach to doing business."

  6-3 Deanna from WinterBerry
"It [Suburban Broadband] has been great! I have had nearly one month of service amd have been more than completely satisfied with the speed of the service and the installation procedure."

  6-3 Scott from WinterBerry
"I've only been connected a week, and so far have had good success with the speed and ease of use [of Suburban Broadband]. It's nice this ISP is based in CPN...you can put a face to the person minding your connection, and you know they use their service in their home office. Additionally, since the service is non-line-of-sight wireless, there are no modifications to our home or ugly outside antennae needed."

  6-3 Jen from Hidden Pointe
"I called Suburban Broadband after receiving a door hanger saying their service was available in our area. They were here the same day I called to complete the install - Damon worked well into the evening to make sure everything was working properly. I'm happy with the connection speed and being treated like a neighbor, not a number. Contrast that with MCI Neighborhood which I signed up for on the same day and have yet to hear when the service will start. I'm beginning to think Qwest may not be all bad after all."

  5-16 Julianne from Kings Crossing
"It [Mile High Online; satellite] has been wonderful to connect FAST. Emails download quickly, websites are worth visiting and you are ALWAYS connected, no dialing in delay. Recently, however, it seems I've needed to reboot the connection several times a week. I haven't followed up to see what may be going on."

  5-16 Jeff from KnightsBridge:
"I use MHO, and have for several months. Most of my neighbors are on it also. The service is great, the only draw back is the they use NAT (address translation), for you non-geeks, that means we all share the same public IP outside of the MHO network. They do a good job with it, and there are some plus's, but you won't be able to get IN to your home computer/network from the outside (unless you are very creative). As a side note they do have static IP over wireless, but the bandwidth isn't there, and it gets expensive. But for nearly every user, this is soooo much better than dialup, if you can afford it, and it's not much more, do it so they'll put up more towers. BTW you know we all share in the bandwidth too, it's not guarenteed, but so far it's not been a problem... having said that... you all should switch to dialup ;)"

  5-8 Michael from Forest Park:
[MHO Microwave] "Excellent response time and service one needed."

  5-8 Dave from Royal Hill:
[MHO Wireless] "The service is great! Minimal downtime (can't remember when it last went down). Great speed and cheaper than satellite (which was ok, but had poor performance when using a VPN)."

  5-8 Alan from Royal Hill:
"So far so good, got the service 3 weeks ago MHO (Broadband antenna)."

  5-1 Jen from Winterberry:
[Suburban Broadband] "Fast installation, neat indoor antenna, and very fast! We also like the castlepines.net email address."

  4-6 Cathy from Forest Park:
"We've had MHO (Broadband antenna) for about 3 months and are very satisfied."

  2-20 Ty from GreenBriar:

"MHO Wireless works great!"

  2-20 Arthur from Royal Hills:

"Service (Qwest MSN) appears to have gotten more stable. Rough times when first installed and routers were being upgraded.

MSN email installed easily, but with multiple persons to logon to the computer, has not been easy to correct email access per the person logging in."

  2-19 from Royal Hills:

"I installed MHO Networks Fixed Wireless Service back in Sep '01; when it first became available. Installed their service at 1MBPS. Lightning fast; great service. $59.95 per month."

  2-19 from Huntington:

"Earthlink, by 56K. No real complaints."

  2-19 Galen from NobleRidge:

"AOL by 56K."

  2-15 from KnightsBridge:

"After MONTHS of trying to get DSL through Qwest to no avail, I read on the CPN website that MHO Networks was going to serve our area with wireless, so I called them immediately to schedule an appointment. They came out during their scheduled appointment time, set up the service quickly, and were even pleasant! We have had no problems with interruptions of service, however, their support desk staff can be less than helpful at times (however, compared to Qwest's service, they are the tops!)."

  2-6 from Tapestry:

"Service with att worldnet on 56K modem has been very good..."

  2-1 Susan from Claremont:

We have ISDN with Qwest. It twinks out a couple of times a month. Alternate that with MSN twinking out and we lose service about 20% of the time.

We have had Covad's DSL get to the pedestal servicing our house, but no cooperation from Qwest getting from the pedestal to the house (until we signed up for Qwest's ISDN, then it was 'no problem').

We don't know what happened to wireless from Air Blaster, which was our best hope as we are quite near the Community Center (or whatever name that building goes by these days) where we thought a transmitter was going.

When it works, you don't give it a second thought, when it doesn't, the world comes to a crashing halt.

I don't even want to go to Customer Service, where the problem is always my fault for days on end, while we try every uninstall/reinstall someone (who sounds like they are 4 years old) deigns to tell us may fix it on "our end" when it is most always on their end. Sometimes I think technology should be shoved off the edge of the desk.
