New HDTV & High Speed Internet Service
In the next few weeks, Comcast will complete its conversion to a new fiber optic system, allowing CPN residents the ability to subscribe to high-speed cable Internet service, HDTV (high definition television), and expanded television channel choices/packages. If you currently subscribe to Comcast’s basic television cable plan, your monthly rate may increase slightly as a result of this upgrade.
Current Comcast customers should have already received direct mail explaining the changes, new options, and information on how to upgrade. Comcast may also send door-to-door salespeople through CPN neighborhoods. If so, they will carry information on the upgrades and will take subscriptions and schedule installations.
