From the Hamlet - "It is believed that The Hamlet was the first CPN subdivision to have its roads and driveways cleared following “The Perfect Storm”. It all began with one of the homeowners commandeering a Bobcat and began plowing at noon Wednesday. Shortly thereafter, another homeowner assisted, and both worked until 12:30AM, and continued from 6AM to 9PM on Thursday. |

On Thursday afternoon, two other Hamlet homeowners brought in their personal Front-End Loaders to help out the situation, with one of these machines continuing through Friday to assist the little Bobcat. With these machines, The Hamlet roads were completely cleared by Friday noon, and driveways were cleared by Saturday noon. In all, 70 machine hours were spent from Wednesday through Saturday to clear The Hamlet. |
