Copperfalls Day Spa

Stefanie Palko, owner of Copperfalls Day Spa, announces that the spa now offers the Copperstone Massage, which uses warm copper stones instead of the traditional basalt lava rock that has been used for centuries. Using hot and cool stones while performing massage is not a new concept, she said. For centuries Asians and Eastern Indians used stones prior to the creation of needles for treatment on the meridians in acupuncture. The wellness industry has rediscovered the many benefits of stone massage and brought it back into the mainstream. Ive just added a few personal touches and made the Copperstone Massage a true Copperfalls experience.
Smooth, polished copper stones of various sizes are placed on the body: along the spine, in the hands, even between the toes. As the heat from the stones is transferred to your body, the circulation to peripheral tissue is increased, muscles are warmed, joints are soothed and toxins are eased from the tissue. The placement and use of the stones is then incorporated into a full-body massage, which is enhanced by the use of Avedas Indigenous massage oil. The massage techniques, combined with the warm and cool stones are said to create harmony, a positive energy flow, and promote a sense of inner balance.
Copperfalls was recently honored by 5280 Magazine as Editors Choice for Best Spa and Best Facial in Denver.
