“Let us help you fill your wine cellars,” says Gary Torscher, co-owner of the family owned and operated Castle Pines North Wine & Spirits. Together with his wife and his sister-in-law, Tammy Float, Torscher opened Castle Pines North Wine & Spirits under new ownership in December 2006.

As distributors of wine, beer and liquor for the past 11 years, Torscher and Float have been able to get outstanding prices as well as the best selection on wine, beer and liquor from their wholesalers. They are excited to be passing along these saving to the residents of the Castle Pines North (CPN) community. “Most everything in the store has been marked down,” said Torscher, “and that is our everyday price.” The store does, however, offer additional weekly in-store specials and per-case discounts.

According to Torscher, about 50 percent (on the average) of his sales are wines from around the world, and each month the store showcases a different wine. Prices range from as low as $4.99 per bottle to $399.00 per bottle.

Beginning in May, Castle Pines North Wine & Spirits will be offering in-store wine tasting events. “We understand that everyone has different tastes,” said Float, and “we hope our wine tasting events can help our customers find wines that are just right for them.”

Castle Pines North Wine & Spirits recently joined Business in the Pines and has become more involved in the CPN community. “This community has opened its arms and welcomed us,” said Torshcer’s wife, Cheryl, who works in the store. “We are natives of Colorado, and we would like to grow our business with the Castle Pines North community,” she said.
