Looking for a fun way to relax and get pampered? Expo Nails, located at 7280 Lagae Road #C in the Shoppes at Castle Pines next to King Soopers, is the place to do just that. Co-owners and sisters, Katie and Kathy Nguyen, agree that having a fun time at their salon is what sets them apart from other local establishments.

“When clients come in for services, we have so much fun,” says Katie Nguyen. “The atmosphere is fun because we laugh, listen to music, and genuinely care about what is happening in our clients’ lives.”

Formerly Happy Nails, Expo Nails has been under new ownership and new management for about eight months. When the Nguyen sisters took over, they brought with them all new employees, upgraded equipment, and a fresh vision for the business.

According to Kathy Nguyen, they are in the final phases of renovations to the interior and the salon has a whole new look and feel. “We wanted to create a warm and welcome atmosphere for our clients, and it has definitely made a difference.”

Castle Pines North resident, Sandy Otersen, has been coming to the salon for over two years. Otersen said she initially chose this salon because of the location, but now it is more about the relationships. “It is nice to walk in and have people know you and know what you want,” says Otersen. “Now they practically know my life story.”

Expo Nails offers a variety of services including manicures and pedicures; acrylic, silk wrap, gel, and “pink & white” nail applications; and all-over body waxing, all at competitive prices. The salon uses high quality products like organic Callus Eliminator for pedicures and Tea Tree brand wax designed for hair removal. They offer discounts to teachers and students, as well as offer a “frequent customer courtesy card” which allows one free service of choice after ten visits.
