Hidden Pointe voters elect three homeowners to Green Valley Board

Hidden Pointe residents voted by mail ballot on May 4, 2004 to elect three board members to the Green Valley Water and Sanitation District.  Hidden Pointe homeowners will now control three of the five seats on the board. 

Green Valley contracts with the CPN Metro District to receive water and sewer services for Hidden Pointe. Hidden Pointe residents vote in the Green Valley election, and not in the CPN Metro election. 

Hidden Pointe had an excellent turn out with more than 35 percent of electors participating in the election via mail ballot – there were 132 ballots received via mail, out of a total of 373 total eligible Electors.  

Here is the vote count as reported by the Green Valley district’s election officials:

Jeffery Huff - 111

Cheryl McDade - 104

Steve Elken - 15

Roberts Short - 12

Melissa Elkin - 4
