Come to the second annual Taste of Douglas County from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., August 19, at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.
Tickets are on sale now at Pegasus Restaurant and Outback Steakhouse.
In addition to samples from nearly 30 local eateries, you will be able to quench your thirst at the Coors and Sauza Tequila stations. Rocky Mountain Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and the Sinton Dairy vintage milk truck, will be on display.
Reagan Lindeman, the singer you may recognize from La Dolce Vita, will serenade you. This year's event will feature expanded and outdoor dining areas to accommodate a larger crowd. (Three-thousand came last year!) Tickets are $15 for adults ($7.50 in advance), and just $2.50 for children ages 5-12.
