Last week it was reported that the southbound on-ramp to I-25 from Castle Pines Parkway (exit 188) would be closed on the nights of September 19 and 20.
The closure has been delayed, and is now scheduled to happen on the nights of Tuesday, September 21 and Wednesday, September 22.
On each night, the ramp will close at 7:00 p.m. and re-open at 5 a.m. the following morning.
The contractor is going to be paving, and one of the sub-contractor's concrete plants broke down which is the cause of the two-day delay.
During the closure, traffic from Castle Pines Parkway traveling east and attempting to go south on I-25 will have to travel north to Surrey Ridge, turn around, and then travel south.
There is always a possibility that the closure will once again be delayed. The Master Association will continue to update CPN residents via e-mail and the CPN web site as information becomes available.
