Master Association Provides Neighborhood HOAs With New Websites

This summer, the CPN Master Association presented neighborhood homeowner associations (HOAs), with new websites. Designed and developed by the Master Association, the new HOA websites enable quick, cost effective communication with all Castle Pines North residents. The new websites feature content from the 30 neighborhood HOAs.

Communication Is Important in CPN

Communication with residents is a top priority of the Master Association. HOA websites, e-mail alerts, and newsletter sections, are readily available and empower all HOAs, regardless of size, to effectively communicate with residents. These tools have been developed by the Master Association for community-wide use, and are available, at no charge, for all HOAs in CPN.

Use of Electronic Media Allows for Timely Updates

During the summer, HOA boards began receiving information about the new HOA web sites. Many Boards are currently working to include information. At the HOA Board’s discretion, their website may contain information such as: HOA contact information, news, special events, trash collection, association documents, financials, meeting dates and minutes, and other specific HOA service information.

HOA1, HOA2, and Bramble Ridge HOA have replaced mailings utilizing their websites. Updates are announced through neighborhood specific e-mail alerts linking directly to the relevant web site article. With more than 80 percent of the community receiving the e-mail alerts, HOAs are able to reach most residents quickly and cost-effectively.

Senate Bill 100 Requires Communication from HOAs

Senate Bill 100, a new Colorado law, created new HOA communications and disclosures requirements. Faced with an increased need to communicate, HOA boards and management companies are utilizing the readily available and easy-to-use website and email.
