Octoberfest

To the polka tunes of a German band, ghosts, goblins, princesses and other Halloween characters could be seen riding ponies, enjoying the giant slide, and piling into the horse drawn wagons. Children also enjoyed face painting and jumping in many of the bounce houses lining the plaza. Kids of all ages had a chance to learn a little science at the event. Brainiac Brian, a teacher from Timber Trail Elementary School, performed science experiments at the CPN Master Association booth. “Everyone from age two and up enjoyed watching Brian’s presentation,” said Carla Kenny, Social Events Coordinator for the CPN Master Association. With the children entertained, adults had the opportunity to sample some of CPN’s fine cuisine and shop the wares of many local artisans. Businesses also provided information on resources and services that are readily available to the CPN community. Special thanks to everyone who worked to make this event a success! See the Album!
