Golfing fans, mark your calendars for The International at Castle Pines, scheduled for August 1 through August 7 in Castle Pines Village.
“Youth Day,” a day devoted to kids, will be held on Monday, August 1. Events will include free admission for kids 12 and under, accompanied by a ticketed adult, a free lunch coupon, and an autograph book and gift, while supplies last.
Other events scheduled for Monday, August 1, include:
- “Golf-4-Fun” disabled exhibition at 1 p.m.
- “Youth Demonstration Clinic,” hosted by PGA Tour Professionals at 2 p.m.
- Invitational Clinic (time to be announced)
All youth events take place at the practice range.
On Tuesday, August 2, practice rounds will be held. The Pro-Am Tournament will be held on Wednesday, August 3. More than 140 players will begin round one of the Tournament on Thursday, August 4.
On Sunday, August 7, at least 36 players begin round four, carrying points forward from previous rounds. The player with the most points is the winner. If necessary, a playoff will determine the winner. Playoff holes are nine, and 18, with repeat rotation as long as necessary.
