As part of the effort to resolve pending litigation between Hidden Pointe and the CPN Master Association, a new contract has been signed by both parties.  The new contract replaces the original contract, and was signed last week by presidents of the CPN Master Association and Hidden Pointe.

Under the terms of the new contract, residents of Hidden Pointe will now pay their Master Association dues through the Hidden Pointe HOA.  Other provisions clarify and formalize Hidden Pointe's rights of participation in Master Association decision-making, access to Master Association services, and responsibility for communicating with current, and future, Hidden Pointe homeowners regarding the relationship. 

The new contract already on web does not address Hidden Pointe’s current relationship with the Castle Pines North Metropolitan District.  However, the CPN Metro District is open to future discussions with Hidden Pointe. 

Now that the new contract has been signed, both parties will forward to the final two steps outlined in the “Memorandum of Understanding,” which was signed in December. This Memorandum was the first step in reaching an agreement to dismiss the pending litigation between both parties, and move forward to solidify their relationship.

Attorneys have begun working on additional steps to dismiss the lawsuit which include:

• Dismissing the lawsuit, which the Hidden Pointe HOA filed in Douglas County District Court in September, 2003. 
  

• Developing necessary legal agreements to give Hidden Pointe residents “full voting membership” in the CPN Master Association.
