On Monday, January 10th, Xcel Energy will begin construction to replace one of the power lines along the power line corridor in the eastern portion of Castle Pines North. Construction of the new poles is expected to take two to four weeks, weather permitting.

Xcel crews will be working on the project 10 hours a day, Monday through Saturday, utilizing cranes, heavy machinery and helicopters to install power lines. Until the project is completed, most of the equipment will remain within the corridor. In addition, the existing power poles will remain in place until the rebuilding project is completed.
