The Castle Pines North Master Association will present a "Summer Movie in the Park" featuring the classic movie, The Wizard of Oz, on Saturday, June 25. The free event, held at Coyote Ridge Park, will begin at 6 p.m. with air castles for kids, volleyball, horseshoes, and much more!
Everyone is encouraged to come dressed as their favorite Wizard of Oz character, and there will be a costume parade at 8 p.m. A small prize will be awarded to all parade participants. At dusk (approximately 8:30 p.m.), the movie will begin on a giant outdoor screen.
Concessions will be available including: hotdogs, popcorn, chips, candy, cotton candy, cookies, glow sticks, and Colorado micro brews. All concessions will be sold from 6 p.m. through the end of the movie.
Residents are invited to bring their own picnics, along with low-sitting chairs and/or blankets.
Reckless Abandon will perform a concert in Coyote Ridge Park on Sunday, July 31, at 6 p.m. Residents may bring their blankets or chairs, picnics, and beverages to this free outdoor event. Enjoy air castles, volleyball, horseshoes, and more.
Concessions will be sold, including grilled hamburgers and hotdogs, popcorn, chips, candy and Colorado micro brews.
