I-25 Lane Closures: Not Related to Bridge-Truck Accident

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will be closing lanes of I-25 at Castle Pines Parkway during the week of June 13 – June 17.

There are no scheduled detours or complete bridge or highway closures.

Scheduled lane closures are as follows:

Monday through Friday, June 13-17:  Both northbound and southbound right lanes will be closed between the hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Monday through Thursday, June 13-16: Both the northbound and southbound left lanes will be closed during the night hours of 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. in order to complete median work.

As previously reported, engineers have inspected the Castle Pines Parkway Bridge, which was struck by a truck carrying a back hoe on June 8, and have determined that there is no structural damage.

While the estimated construction completion date is July 8, there is now a need for additional bridge and ramp closures and detours so that the damage caused by the accident can be repaired. 

The work scheduled for the week of June 13-17 is not related to the needed repair work caused by the accident. That work will occur at the end of June.

The Castle Pines North Master Association will publish any known detours and closures in advance so that travelers may plan their driving routes accordingly.
