Douglas County will be holding a household chemical roundup on September 24. Castle Pines North residents can bring hazardous chemicals and other waste to the Castle Rock Utilities site at 175 Kellogg Road.
Drop off times will run from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. There is no charge for drop off, but a donation of $10 per vehicle is asked to help with costs. A $3 fee will be assessed for tires brought in off the rim. Proof of residency like a driver’s license or a water bill with the residents address is required.

- Motor Oil
- Antifreeze
- Gasoline
- Solvents
- Vehicle Batteries
- House and Garden Chemicals
- Scrap Metal
- Fire Extinguishers
- Fireworks
- Ammunition
- Mercury
- Obsolete Propane Tanks
- Tires (passenger vehicle and pick-up trucks)
