In November, five of the seven Douglas County School board positions will be up for re-election. As citizens of Douglas County, Castle Pines North residents are eligible to vote for all five positions.
District E, which includes Castle Pines North, is one of the seats up for election. Kristine Sherman, Board Secretary and CPN resident, is the current representative for District E and has served a two-year term. She is up for re-election and is uncontested.
Other board members up for re-election include: Timothy White, President, District D; John Sheehan, Vice President, District B; and Suzan Klatt, Director, District A. All seats are uncontested.
District G is the only contested seat in this year’s election. The term for Jacquline Killian, Director, will end in November. The four candidates running for the position include: Deborah Cohen, Emily Hansen, Colleen Klass and Joseph CdeBaca.
