The 2005-2006 school year brings the first junior class to Rock Canyon High School. With this status come varsity athletics and the school’s first Junior Prom.

Being the first class to attend Rock Canyon, Renita Mundwiller, a parent of a junior classman, was concerned for her son’s high school experience. “I was worried that he wouldn’t have the sense of school spirit that goes along with having an upper class.” Overall, Mundwiller feels that the experience has been great. Small class sizes have provided opportunities in academic achievement and athletics, not to mention boosting student’s self esteem.

Junior and sophomores will return to school on August 15, while freshman will begin their first year at the high school on August 12. For more information about Rock Canyon visit their web site at
