Castle Pines North will soon be the new home for
Castle Cones Ice Cream and Cakes, holding its grand opening Valentines Day, the shop will feature soft serve ice cream and ice cream products.
Each week, the shop will feature a fruit-flavored sherbet. Customers looking for lunch before dessert will also be able to order hotdogs and chips.
Owner and CPN resident, Scott McDowell, has lived in HOA1 for the past six years and saw a need for an ice cream shop within the community. He decided to partner with the Castle Cones Ice Cream and Cakes franchise out of Pierre, South Dakota. As a former business owner and operator with Dairy Queen, McDowell definitely knows his ice cream.
The shop is located at 363 Village Square Lane in the Village Square Shopping Center. Hours of operation will be: Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. until 9 p.m., and Sunday from noon until 9 p.m. The shop will be closed on Mondays. Store hours are expected to be extended during summer months.
