Farewell to Master Association Board Member Ted Lohr

The Castle Pines North (CPN) Master Association bid a fond farewell to one of its board members at the end of 2006. Secretary/Treasurer Ted Lohr stepped down from his position to devote more time volunteering with the Metro District developing a plan to obtain a sustainable water source for CPN. A CPN resident since 1999, Lohr served in the Bristle Cone HOA, first on the Architectural Review Committee and then as Board President, during which time he was a delegate to the Master Association. During his tenure with the Master Association, Lohr made changes to simplify the way the budget was structured. “I changed the way it (the budget) was formatted to make it easier to understand,” said Lohr. Making things easy to understand is something Lohr feels quite strongly about, noting that one of the primary functions of the Master Association is to be sure that residents of CPN are well informed about happenings in the community. “I enjoy doing this kind of volunteer work,” said Lohr. “I enjoy knowing what is going on in the community and making an impact. I have a career background that has given me some organizational skills and some knowledge of finances, and that has helped too.” Lohr is looking forward to devoting his full energy to the water issue in CPN. |
