Save the Date for the TTE Silent Auction

The TTE Silent Auction, the school’s largest fundraiser, will be held on Friday, May 4, 2007 at the Marriott at Park Meadows in Lone Tree. Last year was the first year for the silent auction and it raised $30,000 for the school. This year, the school hopes to raise $40,000 which will be used for science and reading programs.

Community businesses and individuals interested in donating items for the silent auction may contact Gretchen Harrison at gs_harrison@msn.com. Small businesses or individuals wanting to contribute a smaller cash amount can participate in the TTE gift basket program. Gift baskets will be created using donated funds and those individuals or small business will be recognized.

Watch for spring ticket sales which will be available at the TTE front office.

TTEA Meetings

Officer elections for the TTEA are planned for April. Parents interested in getting involved in the school are highly encouraged to attend upcoming TTEA meetings. February and March meetings will be held at the school on the following dates: Tuesday, February 6, 2007 - 6 p.m. and Tuesday, March 6, 2007 - 6 p.m.

Box Tops for Education

Spring Science Fair

The 2007 science fair will take place in April. This one-night event is sure to be a huge hit again. Last year, Steve Spangler Science wowed the kids. This event is sponsored by the TTEA. Watch for more details.
