Castle Pines Orthodontics -

Local resident, Ali Shea, submitted this contest winning poem to Castle Pines Orthodontics:

Braces - by Ali Shea

Braces are cool. Braces are fun. They shimmer. They sparkle. They shine in the sun. In just a little while, I’ll have a great smile. I don’t go too far. Just up the street to Dr. Dunbar.

Castle Rock Bank Congratulates “High 5 Club” Scholarship Winners -

Castle Rock Bank’s ninth annual “High 5 Club” Scholarship Award Ceremony took place in March. Every year, Castle Rock Bank fully funds and sponsors the “High 5 Club” essay contest. Douglas County fourth through sixth graders are eligible to participate.

Scholarships for $300 are awarded to the top 30 students who submit the best essays based on the questions provided on the contest application. Scholarship dollars are deposited in a High 5 Club account at Castle Rock Bank. This account is in the form of an Educational Individual Retirement Account and earns a premium interest rate.

Castle Rock Bank developed and organized the High 5 Club with the intent that all children should take an opportunity to better themselves and their future by planning early for their higher education. Congratulations to the winners from Castle Pines North area schools:

Tommy Harrison - Rocky Heights Middle School (sixth grade), Rachel Teeter - Buffalo Ridge Elementary (fifth grade), and Luke Zahorik - Buffalo Ridge Elementary (fifth grade). For more information visit www.CastleRockBank.com.
