American Family Insurance

Agent Julie Sequeira, offers Teen Safe Driver ProgramSM-The Teen Safe Driver ProgramSM, an innovative new program that helps young drivers overcome the challenges of learning how to drive, became available to American Family’s automobile insurance customers in Colorado on August 1.

Teen Safe Driver provides teens and parents with an in-vehicle video and audio unit that captures driving behaviors. Parents can log into the Teen Safe Driver website, www.teensafedriver.com, to view a driving report card, video events and coaching tips - including objective, third-party assessment of the teen’s driving performance compared with other teens.

“This is a terrific opportunity for parents to help their young drivers identify the issues that all new drivers share,” said Sequeira. By helping parents provide guidance to teens, Teen Safe Driver is achieving a greater than seventy percent reduction in the frequency and severity of risky driving events among novice drivers.

Julie Sequeira’s American Family Insurance office is located at 562 E. Castle Pines Pkwy - C2, Castle Rock, CO 80108. The office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturdays. For more information, call 720-733-2598.
