CPN Families Rock Out at Summer Concert in the Park
by Elean Gersack

The Castle Pines North Master Association presented its annual Summer Concert in the Park on Sunday, July 22, at Coyote Ridge Park.? The event, co-sponsored by Castle Rock Bank at Castle Pines, featured British rock cover band – The Rejuveniles.

“This is new music for some and old music creating flashbacks for others,” said Paul Arvidson, vice president and branch manager of Castle Rock Bank at Castle Pines. Classic hits such as “Twist and Shout,” “Gimme Some Lovin” and “California Dreaming” were among the crowd favorites.

Hundreds gathered in the park with umbrellas and tents to beat the heat, while the kids in the audience found way to the bounce house for jumping fun. Castle Pines North Boy Scout Troop 316 sold hamburgers, hotdogs, and a lot of cold bottled water.

Pleased with the turnout, Arvidson said, “It’s been great watching the kids and families have so much fun.”
