RCHS Student Joins The Connection as Intern
|

Susie Typher, a senior at Rock Canyon High School (RCHS), has joined The Connection as student intern for the 2007-2008 school year. Typher is currently the Executive Editor for the award winning RCHS student newspaper, The Rock. Beginning with the December 2007 issue of The Connection, Typher will contribute newsworthy stories on behalf of RCHS and Rocky Heights Middle School (RHMS). After taking a journalism class during her freshman year, Typher realized that news writing would be a part of her future. “I fell in love with it and knew that it was my niche,” said Typher. In addition to interning for The Connection and managing The Rock, Typher takes five AP courses, works part-time and volunteers on a regular basis - all while maintaining a 4.0 G.P.A.
