Local Veterans to be Honored

The Douglas County Office of Veterans Affairs and the Douglas County Masonic Lodge of Castle Rock will host a Veterans Day Lunch and Tribute on Sunday, November 11 at noon at the Douglas County Events Center. Reservations for the free lunch buffet are required.

A presentation is planned as part of the tribute to those service members who are missing medals or never received awards. Anyone who fits this category or knows of a veteran who never offically received an award or medal should contact the Douglas County Office of Veterans Affairs at 303-688-4825, ext. 5359.

Please take time to honor and thank a local Veteran on Monday, November 12. Their sacrifices to our county should not go unnoticed.
