Development on Castle Pines Parkway Proceeds
|

Projects on either side of Castle Pines Parkway are up and running. The Pinnacle Building, on the south side of the road near the Colorado Capital Bank building, is under construction and is slated for completion in early 2008. The County approved construction and design plans for the project two years ago. “We see a real need for this type of development in Castle Pines North, and have already had quite a lot of interest in the project from potential tenants,” said Roger Campbell, a Castle Pines North resident and a partner in the project. When the 11,755-square-foot building is completed, it will be home to Real Trends, a national real estate consulting company. Additional suites up to nine, depending on their size are available for lease and will be ready for tenant finish in the first quarter of 2008. The architectural plan for the building, which was approved by the county two years ago, will be quite similar in style and appearance to the Castle Rock Bank Building. Across the Parkway, the Walgreens shopping center is finally underway. After months of delay, the County Commission granted final approval on the project on October 31. A legal dispute between the land broker and the original seller may further delay the project, however. As the project proceeds, the county will evaluate whether certain phases can take place based on legal considerations. “We’re hoping to work this out quickly,” said Max Heitzmann, the project manager for Anxon, Inc., who is developing the land. The land needs several improvements, including extensive grading, before any actual construction can begin. Thus far, Walgreens is the only confirmed tenant on the property. |
