First Trick or Treat Street Held in CPN
|
||||||||||
Swarms of children in Halloween garb hit the streets in the Castle Pines North (CPN) business district on October 29 for Trick or Treat Street, hosted by Business in the Pines. Children gathered goodies and enjoyed decorating Halloween cookies. Black bats dangled in doors and windows to designate the participating businesses in all three shopping areas Safeway, King Soopers and The Village Square. “The turnout was unbelievable,” said Carla Kenny, vice-president of Business in the Pines. “We were very happily surprised - especially considering this was a first-time event. The businesses are so important to our community, and it was nice that so many residents came out to support them.” In addition to children collecting goodies, families had the chance to take part in special pizza deals from Little Italy Pizzeria via dine-in or take-out. Congratulations to Lucas Palazzo, winner of the $100 gift certificate from Toys R Us. Trick or Treat Street was sponsored by IREA, Linda Clure/ReMax Accord, the Castle Pines North Master Association, Laura Nuss/Coldwell Banker, My Gym Castle Rock, Prudential Preferred Real Estate and Mary S. Riccelli, PMHNP. For more information about Business in the Pines, please visit www.businessinthepines.com. |
