City of Castle Pines North City Council Ward 1 Jennifer Havercroft
What have been your contributions to the Castle Pines North community? Serving North Lynx (NOL) HOA since 2005 as treasurer, president and currently VP and a CPN Master Association Board member. Within NOL I started a recycling program, obtained funding for landscaping improvements, installed approved “No Solicitation” signage, coordinated community meetings with Douglas County Sheriff and homeowners regarding skate park and traffic issues, recruited Boy Scout troops for holiday lighting, helped residents obtain a cement V-pan preventing backyard flooding, worked with Douglas County to install “No Parking” signs and oversaw streetlight installation on Hidden Pointe Blvd. I supported incorporation and lastly, we have not increased dues during my tenure and maintain fiscal responsibility within NOL. What qualifications would you bring to this position? With my involvement in NOL and CPN Master Association, I am well equipped to fairly and responsibly begin the process of establishing our new city for every resident. I fully understand the background and needs of CPN: securing renewable water, managing traffic as we grow, thoughtful and responsible residential and commercial building, increased recreational space, open and available government, and keeping our community unique and valuable. I am highly responsive to resident concerns and believe engaging our community a high priority. I am committed to preserving and maintaining the best interests for our community. |
