City of Castle Pines North City Council Ward 3 David Neely
What have been your contributions to the Castle Pines North community? I am currently the Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 637, and held that position for 5+ years, and assisted many Eagle Scouts from CPN. I have been a Boy Scout Leader and a Cub Scout Leader since 2000. I ran the Scout youth triathlon in Kings Crossing for three years. My wife and I have managed the HOA2 clubhouse and pool, we were involved in the renovation quotes, and submitted the original budget for the HOA2 swim team. I helped start the Cougars Lacrosse youth program 11 years ago which serves many CPN residents. I am currently the head coach for Valor Christian HS, in Highlands Ranch. What qualifications would you bring to this position? In my career I have managed large capital projects & budgets for a large international corporation, and have managed large divisions of people. In contrast I currently run a small community business, so I can relate to the needs of various families. Plus, I have worked in Wash., D.C. representing a trade association on various government and industry issues. I would be described as a leader, organized, confident, responsible, and self sufficient. I am very good at getting people together, making plans, and executing events that are successful. |
